If you have completed the 5 Hour course as part of the Future Young Pilots Program you may want to choose one of our additional modules to work on your favourite part.
Each one of these modules includes course material and 60 minutes in the 737-800 Jet Airliner simulator.
Module 1 - Navigation
Location, Location, Location …. Is not a term that we use in aviation. It is however important when flying 189 virtual passengers in a 65 tonne jet airliner! You will find out more about the process of planning, recording, and controlling the movement of the aircraft from one place to another using beacons, charts and differing approaches.
Module 2 - Difficult Approaches
Some airports professional pilots dread more than others. You will learn how to fly and set up the aircraft for challenging approaches like Innsbruck – Kia tak, Gibraltar, Queens Town – New Zealand and the hair-raising Paro! Only 21 pilots qualified for this approach, can you be no22?
Module 3 - Emergency & Failures
When do things ever go as planned? Now’s the chance to learn how professional pilots deal with emergencies or onboard failures! As the captain of your flight, you decide how to deal with each scenario with your wits, skill and you’ll been shown how to use the QRH (Quick Reference Handbook).
Module 4 - Extreme Weather
Weather is unreliable. Living in England we know this. With this module you will learn the techniques used for flying in the most extreme weather conditions including gusty winds, low visibility, wind-shear and more!
Module 5 - Landing Expert
Take off is easy! It’s landing where things can really hit the fan! It can be the most dangerous part of the flight and this module is time well spent! You will practice multiple take off and landings in various locations AND scenarios using auto-land , visual or ILS (Instrument Landing System). By the end of this section of the course you will land like a pro!

The 5 hour course is to be completed first. The modules are to top up the students experience if there are certain areas they wish to focus in on.
It is far cheaper to purchase the 10 hour course which incorporates all of the modules on this page.
If the student wishes to continue to practice one particular area it may be financially beneficial for them to purchase time in the simulator via one of our experience packages.
The reason being that our modules also include the associated course materials in the price which the student will have already had.
