Description
A brand new flying training academy has opened its doors in the UK and is offering future young pilots the opportunity to learn the foundation skills required to pursue a career in aviation.
Virtual Aerospace UK features 3 professional level fixed base Boeing 737-800 simulator to give students the most realistic training experience available.
Course modules are split between briefings where the student learns the theory involved in flight and the simulator … where students apply the practical knowledge they have learnt.
The 5-hour Future Young Pilot Program is designed to equip senior school students (aged 13 years and upwards) with the skills required to move onto the formal stages of training and a full ATPL course.
The student will leave this course with an above average knowledge of the 737-800 aircraft and practice the key skills required to become an airline pilot. They will receive a digital certificate of completion and if required, they will be eligible for their 2 bars (2 Epaulettes) on course completion.
Course includes:
- From a quiet and completely shut down aircraft the student will learn how to set up the flight management computer, taxi the aircraft, take off, straight and level, upset recovery, plan for and action the approach and of course landing.
- The above process will be repeated but this time while also integrating the auto pilot feature.
- 3 “A to B” line flights (Take off, fly and land) using the knowledge gained.
- We also include 3 additional landings as a bonus to enable the student to feel more comfortable with the most exciting / dangerous part of the flight.
- The student will be introduced to charts and flight plans as they plan and carry out their flight.
- Once the course is complete we offer 15% off of all our products for 12 months from the date of course completion. Please note, this excludes any course related modules and any product using the Full Motion Simulator.
