Description
CAE Boeing 737 (800) FULL MOTION FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Our agreement with Quadrant Systems has allowed us to offer experiences in their full motion simulators at their location in Burgess Hill, near Gatwick Airport. These machines are full flight (Level D) all with 6 Degrees of freedom. They are currently used daily by both UK & oversees airlines for all parts of initial and recurrent training. All of these machines are zero hour machines which mean they possess accurate enough flight characteristics to not require real aircraft time during a type rating.
Virtual Aerospace currently hire these machines for the following:
- Airline simulator assessment practice.
- LPC prep recurrent training / inc. LOFT.
- General glass cockpit familiarization.
- General handling of heavy transport jet Orientation JOT.
- Private or commercial pilot career development.
- General handling practice automatic flight and raw data.
- MCC preparation.
- Flight Experiences.
INSTRUCTORS / SIM OPERATORS
All of our instructors are either very experienced Training instructors or current line pilots, one thing you can be certain off is that they are all familiar with whatever type of aircraft your session will take place in.
CAN I BRING MY OWN INSTRUCTOR?
The answer to this is YES! If you have a friend or a colleague that you would prefer to be your instructor and they are currently type rated on the aircraft type then we can provide a discount on the advertised rate and supply a simulator operator rather than a pilot instructor. The operator will be in charge of the session but will not dictate the session content or fly the aircraft. They will provide assistance and operate the instructor station from the back seat based on your requirements. This is a unique service to Virtual Aerospace. (This reduces price by 10% – Please phone to book this).
CAN I SHARE MY SESSION WITH A COLLEAGUE / FRIEND?
Yes – Even if you have limited aircraft experience you can bring a friend or colleague with you, share the cost and even once a familiarization flight is completed allow the other person to join you in the front with your instructor running the session from the instructor station.
DO I NEED TO BE TYPE RATED OR FAMILIAR WITH AIRCRAFT TYPE?
No – this is not a requirement, many of our customers either want to try a different aircraft type or want to practice for an up and coming sim assessment on a the assessment aircraft type, whatever you will be provided with an instructor who can guide you through whatever scenario you require.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING?
The simulator is not a large space and this is a 24 hour training facility used by the airlines to maintain their pilot’s currency so is not set up for the general public. You may bring a maximum of 2 adults (Over 16) with you to the simulator, however the centre cannot accommodate more people that this so you will not be able to bring anymore people than this with you.
